So here’s my dumbass move of the day:
I ordered a hot/cold water dispenser for my 5-gallon bottles—super excited, ready to upgrade my hydration game. I breezed through the directions (read: didn’t), grabbed the water bottle I already had, and popped it on top.
What I didn’t realize? My old bottle was missing the water baffle, since it had a pump on it before. New ones come with it built in. So the moment I flipped that bottle, it turned into the Great Flood of 2025—water everywhere.
After I finished hysterically laughing at myself (and mopping), I finally sat down and read the instructions like a responsible adult. And that’s when I had the real moment:
This kind of stuff makes great content.
Everyday lessons—like reading directions, overpacking for a trip, forgetting to charge the mic before filming—can turn into relatable, funny posts. You don’t need epic milestones to write something worth sharing. You just need a little honesty, a splash of humor, and maybe a wet floor.
So next time life humbles you? Take notes. That’s your next blog post.
