What kind of images are at the heart of your brand?

Let's chat!  We can meet for coffee if you’re in the Charlotte or Denver, North Carolina area you have and go over the details needed to get started!  I will walk you through everything you need to know about getting started with creating your personalized stock images to use on social media, websites, funnels, advertisements and print brochures and materials!

I can work with your webmaster, as well, to make sure we have images that fit those awkward image boxes on your website, as well as on your social media headers and profile images.

Sessions that are perfect for you:

  • With the Personal Brand Paparazzi Experience I will follow you around, doing what you do for your business, for 1/4, 1/2, full or 2 days, to give you amazing image content for your website, funnels, ads and social media.

  • A Planned Session would be on location with planned scenarios, or in studio with props.

What Is Personal Brand Photography?
Who is it For?

A Personal Branding Photography Shoot is for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to use photography to help build their brand and online presence. Photos that truly show off your unique personality and style are so important to creating a brand, getting clients and growing your business.

Helping You Achieve Success

The right photographer for your branding needs

Plenty of photographers can take a beautiful photo or a nice headshot, but very few traditional photographers understand how to transform your personal brand into images. They may expect you to have all the ideas, or they’ll come with generic, overdone ideas, like you with your laptop and a cup of coffee, or you with a glass of wine with some friends.

While neither of these images are bad to have, traditional photographers, will not have the expertise you need to create images that truly connect with your audience and grow your social media following.

As a personal brand photographer, I don’t work off of a generic shot-list, I strategically transform your brand into a set of images that connect with and engage your audience. I take the time to understand your brand and your audience. I’ll use this information to create a set of unique images that will truly reflect your brand and help people feel like they know and trust you. It’s far more than just a beautiful headshot!

This is not a portrait shoot - consider this an advertising campaign to market your business!

Here's how it differs from a traditional portrait shoot:

Most traditional photographers do NOT allow you to use their images commercially. This means that you can’t use them for business purposes in any way. If you want to use images in your business, you MUST have a commercial use license. Since you’ll be using the images to grow your business and make money, you should expect to pay more for these images than you would for a personal use photo session.

Traditionally, photographers do NOT give the right to edit their photos in any way. Consumers generally don’t need to edit photos from traditional photographers. They hire photographers because they like their work. It’s rare they’d do more than buy a few prints, an album, wall art or cards.

However, if you’re hiring a photographer because you need images to grow your business online, you’re likely going to need to edit or modify a few of them. Whether it’s adding text to the image, optimizing it for Pinterest, making it into a Facebook ad or something more drastic, you need rights to make any changes.

Traditional photographers usually allow you to use images online if you link to their website or credit them whenever you use the image. They may even require you to use a watermarked version of the image. If you have to link to their site on a sales page, on your Facebook ads or anywhere else, it will lower your conversion rate. Anytime you add links to outside sites on posts or pages you risk losing your traffic to those sites and miss the opportunity for people to take the action you want them to take. This is why it’s important to hire someone who understands that it’s not always appropriate for you to give credit each time one of their photos is used.

You’ll often get a better rate when you book a yearly package instead of individual sessions and it’s one less thing that you’ll have to worry about. Plus, you can pay monthly, which helps even out your cash flow throughout the year.
